Canberra trip and Olympic Distance Triathlon
Last weekend we took a trip down to Canberra to see a few of our friends and for TV to take part in an Olympic distance triathlon. The triathlon consisted of a 1.5km swim, 40km bike ride and a 10km run. It took TV 2 hours 38 minutes to complete. It was a very nice event through some wonderfully green countryside and lake front trails. The only draw back was the cold water which required a wetsuit.
Before the event we drove down with our friend Adam and had a great time. We also met up with our friend Lea who showed us around Canberra again, and took us to the national museum. Thank you for that Lea, and thanks to Adam and his family for having us over for dinner.
Overall a very nice trip and a decent result for TV's first long distance triathlon.
Hopefully next time we should be posting about our Singapore/Malaysia trip from last month.

Hey, congrats to TV!!! How did you think it went, Thomas?
I think it went well, but of course there is always room for improvement.
Wow, Thomas... I am soooooo proud of you! How did you feel afterwards? You looked like a "natural"! Thanks for the fabulous photos.. Katie, did you take those? Good job!
