Fiji Part 8

These are the last two entries for our Fiji trip. Of course we left some spectacular photos to the end, so enjoy. We begin with the last few days on the island with Kt in the water. The second photo shows the view when we were hard at work, and the third shows crab racing. One of the last evenings we walked out to the western point on the island around the "airstrip" and to the beach for a sunset. As you can see the sunset did not disappoint. We were the only two out there and we made the most of it. The day before we left we took advantage of the coconut ice cream making demonstration and tasting. The ice cream was fantastic! Although a lot of hard work to get the flesh off the shell. We also took a hat weaving lesson which was fun, it went along with our fans made earlier in the week. Kt models both accessories as does the lamp. Unfortunately we were not able to take the organic hat and fan with us to Australia because of quarantine issues, so we left them in the room. On the last day we said our good byes and left our room and resort, but we did get a chance to see a sea turtle on the way back to the mainland which was exciting. Next time we will show some of the things we have been doing since coming back to Sydney.

Thanks, we had a fantastic time. The ice cream was very tasty and the guy kept trying to give us more and more, until we had to decline because we got full.

I have never seen such beautiful sunset photos, Thomas, (and such a beautiful couple in the photos, too)! What a great opportunity to visit such an interesting area...
