Pleasant evening

Back in the hotel we had a pleasant evening opening a few more gifts. Everyone enjoyed their gifts, particularly the books. For the adults it was nice just to slow down and enjoy some down time together.

Going to the casino

For dinner that is. First we went and stopped at the arcade though. Everyone got to play a little bit but it was MV and SV that got to pick out prizes at the end. The rest of us had a nice buffet dinner as our reward.

MV's first day of skiing

It was also Auntie Jeanna's first time too. They both did quite well. SV did well too even though she was a bit scared and hesitant. It was a nice day and the snow storm managed to stay away long enough for us to get home as well.

First time in Tahoe

For the kids it was the first time being up at Lake Tahoe. It was a bit of a challenge getting up there with all of the falling snow, but the fact it was snowing made it special. Having to put on chains was a bit less special though. Once we got up there the snow became even heavier which worked just fine for the girls. They were happy to do a bit of sledging with Babicka. There were some snow angels made and just plain rolling around in the snow. We had a quick dinner and played a little bit before some of us fell asleep hard.

Playdoh with the cousins

Before some of the cousins had to head back they all got to play with the playdoh after lunch. They all played very nicely. They had fun and there was absolutely no arguing which was great. Later on Uncle Terry finally had a chance to hold EV and play with her for a while which was great. There was also an intense game of chicken foot underway.

The girls were really excited to play with their cousins at the park one last time before they had to go back home. They had a blast doing all sorts of things. Next time they meet The little ones will likely be able to join in on the fun too. For now EV was very satisfied with her first experience in a proper swing by herself. Didn't really want to get out actually.
