Fiji Part 2

So we are back in Sydney and we managed to go through our photos and sorted them out. So the way this will work is that we will post some photos above water and another post below water. So without further ado, the photos.

Kt stops to enjoy the beautiful flowers and cloudy skies. The next photo shows a hindu temple during one of the hindu holidays. We took advantage of the free activities including the kayaks and swimming pool. We experimented with the underwater case for the camera before taking it into the ocean.
There are several views of flowers and decorations around the resort we stayed the first week including the sea side chapel. The resort even had it's own nursery to supply its needs. The first night there several of the locals performed a torch lighting ceremony which was very interesting. We managed to play a round of golf where we were the only people on the course and even a game of putt putt golf. Good fun and we saw some of the local animals. Kt tried out snorkeling before the rain storm came through. She did find solace in her tasty Fijian Coke with it's jazzy can design by the pool. One of the days we hired a car and drove across the island to see the real Fiji and the capitol Suva.

Bush Camping

Last weekend some of our friends wanted to get out of Sydney, so we joined them along. We went proper bush camping where we brought all of our gear, food, and water with us. The only thing that was available was a port-a-loo. A big thank you goes out to our friend Gordon for letting us use his car for the weekend. Here are some of the photos from the trip including some of the animals that were all around. Also there are a few photos of us all together posing on the ridge that led down to the river. We had a good time just relaxing and floating along on the river away from the city life.
Tomorrow we will post a video of wild Kangaroos.

Big thank you goes out to Gordon again for the use of his car.
