Baby cover up

We're not quite sure what this baby is doing. Perhaps she is a sheik, or embracing her Slovak roots and wearing a shawl, or getting ready to enter a shrine, perhaps just playing hide and seek. In any case we needed to keep pulling the blanket off her face often.

Plaster party

We got an invite to a birthday party at a paint your own plaster animal place. They also had a disco area and lunch. The girls really took their time and worked very diligently on their designs. EV also partied pretty hard before having a nap. It was a quick one as she needed to make more baby friends.

Bus depot visit

After spending some time at the bus museum we caught an old single deck bus to the new part of the bus depot. There we got a tour of the offices and the shop area as well. Eventually we went through the bus wash on one of the new buses before getting dropped off by our car. The girls liked it and TV was very happy to explain things as it reminded him of his days dealing with buses at university.

Ye olde bus museum

We went back to the Leichhardt Bus Museum as it was a special day. The Leichhardt bus depot was having a 60 year anniversary and the bus museum was celebrating as well. Along with the old buses at the museum there were a couple of new buses as well. The girls again enjoyed running around and checking lots of the buses out.

Snuggles and cuddles

MV is so excited to have EV back. She just can't quite get enough of her. She is being very good and gentle with her.

House of readers

We had a home day and the girls all did a bit of reading for themselves and to each other. There were plenty of home activities while KT and TV cleaned, and unpacked.

More EV faces

It was nice to all be together again so that we can all give this little munchkin a good cuddle. She has matured during her trip.

Landing back home

Landing back at home the xmas decorations were up and SV can't resist a cut out photo opportunity. Since MV wasn't there a water bottle filled the second cut out hole. When they were leaving the tree was being put up, so naturally now that it was up they had to get a photograph in front of it too. When they got home MV was super excited to see them.

Angus jumping party

MV went to Angus' birthday party and got to hop around heaps. She got to hop in the jumping castle and the trampoline. She was well behaved and had lots of fun. Understandably, she was exhausted that night.

Heading to SFO

It was a short trip but very well worth it. EV really enjoyed meeting so many people for the first time. SV and KT benefited from seeing everyone again. On the way to the airport SV benefited with one more ice cream and a ride on a train and carousel.
