Skateboard and packing bubbles

The girls like to take the long board out for a spin sometimes. They can both sit on it even with their beverages which is fun for them. They are now getting the hang of it with both of them rolling through the backyard by themselves. Since it was getting warm they went inside to play with the packing bubbles. They separated them all out before using different ways to deflate them, both loud and quiet.

2016 Haberfield Festa

After missing out on a couple of years we finally made it to the Haberfield Festa again.There was plenty to do this year. We walked through the stalls and had some lunch. The girls also really enjoyed the patting zoo, especially the pig and bunnies. KT took MV home a bit early because she was tired while TV and SV stayed on a bit longer. SV got to have pose with some 'celebrities' and go on rides.

Representing NPR

The girls were both representing NPR in their shirts as they inspected the car for our trip. They played a bit more before we went off to a party. It was a pig themed party which included a swimming pool of 'mud'. SV enjoyed dipping her feet in the 'mud' but MV wanted nothing to do with it. Instead she explored the park and watched from afar. They both had fun though, just in different ways.

Fairy dust and bubbles

What does a princess in Leichhardt play with? Why fairy dust and bubbles of course. A princess also shares with her sister. Followed by a fresh lunch and more playing.

Christmas morning 2016

In the morning the girls woke up and leisurely made their way downstairs. They immediately noticed the new additions from Santa under the tree and the stockings full of goodies. They had to wait until we picked up KT from work though. As soon as we came home they got straight into the stockings and then presents. We only opened a few though as they started to play with each gift and of course we let them take their time. Pretty soon KT had to go to sleep after her night shift and so we stopped opening gifts, but everyone was satisfied and playing happily.

A big thank you to everyone for all of the wonderful gifts we received. You were again far too generous.

Christmas Eve 2016

This year we had Uncle Nick and Auntie Aimee come over for dinner. As per usual we made way too much food, but it was all tasty. We even got to try the New Zealand specialty of lolly cake. After dinner we were all full and the girls took a rest to digest. Not for long though, SV was too excited to give her present to TV to open. That was the most exciting thing for her, better than opening any of her presents. We all opened a few presents and then the girls started reading the various books and playing with their presents.

More school xmas party

After a snack the kids played with their extra energy. As per the usual program they all sat and sang a couple of classic Aussie xmas songs before Santa came and handed out presents. Then it was time for balloon bunnies and more playing. Both MV and SV went inside the jumping castle and had a good time.
