At the market

Shopping at Paddy's market is always an interesting endeavor. It's a fun place to go for little gifts and accessories. SV as usual made friends, this time with some Chinese boys and Korean girls.

Little helper

SV's first Christmas was a big success with lots of firsts for her. Such a big holiday makes a little tike tired though.

First swim

Yesterday afternoon SV went for her first swim. We think it was a great success. SV seemed to enjoy it since she was talking and cooing throughout. Plus she looked adorable in her (what used to be KT's ) swimming costume. Here are some photographs showing us walking to the pool, swimming and then changing in to dry clothes poolside.

Bee in her bonnet, different bee though

Someone has a bee in her bonnet and she certainly doesn't like it. SV seemed to like her outfit but she was getting tired of so many costume changes in one day.

Pink elephants

No, she isn't drunk, but thanks to Eric and Cheryl she was playing with a pink elephant. A really nice ornament that is.

Best present this year

Thank you all very much for all of the gifts for all three of us. Especially your generosity towards SV, who is really all we could ask for this year.

Merry Christmas part one

Into the distance

Laying on the bed in a contemplative mood, SV waits while we pick out a clean outfit for her. She was enjoying naked time but had some things she needed to ponder.

Too cute indeed

We were quite busy around the house so we propped SV into a sitting position on the couch so we could get everything done. She certainly entertained herself quite well, but she was just too captivating not to take photographs of her. In the end we she proved to be too much of a distraction and played with her for a while.

At the airport

Grandma CeCe just before she flew back to CA. She had one more cuddle before her flight.

Chating up a storm

SV talking to Grandma CeCe before passing out for a nap. The monkey bib came in handy to save her nice new dress from a vomit.

On the way out

On the way out of the house the three ladies paused for a photograph in the warm light.

Martin Place Christmas tree

We had a nice stroll to the Martin Place Christmas tree for a few photographs. The weather wasn't the greatest but we made the most of it.

At Ikea

A quick bonus post because SV just looks so happy. Last night we went to ikea and stopped in the parents room because someone needed a diaper change and a snack. They had mobiles hanging over the change tables and SV really liked them.

At Sunday lunch

We all got the degustation menu (a 8 course set meal) which took us about 4 hours to eat. It was really artfully presented and accompanied by some very dramatic weather changes. SV had a two course meal herself and was generally very well behaved.

Out to lunch

Last Sunday we went out to have a nice meal at a restaurant on the Sydney Harbour called Sails. These were taken on the way there or out in front of the restaurant.

Santa's little helper

Here is a bonus post which is a make up for missing yesterday. Our Santa's Little Helper going shopping with her family and even visiting Santa. It was a big day for such a small character.

Christmas Elf

A cheeky little elf came over to help out with Christmas this year. She was both naughty and nice.

Sleeping it off

After a long night of partying, it is essential to get some good rest.

It's begining to feel like the Christmas season

Christmas parties are in full swing now, including TV's work party for which both KT and TV got dressed up while SV stayed at home with Grandma CeCe.

Hats!

White hats and stripey hats, both going for a walk. You can never be too careful here in Australia, the sun is really strong.

One tday the three little shoppers went to the market ....

With a bow

SV wearing one of her new hats with a giant bow. She also has her matching panda shirt and pants so that she can go out to the city and look fashionable.

Hanging out with Grandma

These two were having a nice conversation with SV listening to songs and responding with coos.

At the movies

Three generations at the movies. A good time was had by all, especially after winning two free tickets in the raffle.

Having a laugh

SV having a laugh at what TV was doing. Probably giving her a bit of a tickle on her tummy.

Getting bigger

Looking at her hands and feet SV is getting so much bigger. She still looks cute though (at least in our opinion).
