Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
Here are a few photos from our Thanksgiving celebrations this year. We had a great time with our friends on Friday because of course there is no Thanksgiving holiday in Australia. KT and Bambi made all of the delicious food, with KT baking the best pies she has ever done so far, including making the crust from scratch.

Here is another slideshow from our Singapore trip. This has photos from the zoo where we had breakfast with the Orangutans which was really special. We also got to interact with a few of the other animals before exploring the amazing zoo. The zoo has virtually no cages and most the animals are just behind natural seaming barriers. Enjoy the show. Again points for those that guess the music first.

10 Year anniversary!
As a brief interlude from our Singapore trip, here are some photos from our 10 year anniversary. Starting with our tasty pre-show lunch and moving on to our hotel suite which had two bathrooms. It was nicer than our apartment. We had a lovely time seeing a great show at the Opera House called "God of Carnage". We then eventually had a delightful meal at Quay restaurant complete with a sunset and fireworks.

Singapore 2009 Trip
The photo slideshow is a new format we are trying out for the next couple of sets of photos. This is because we have so many photos to share with everyone but we don't want to take up the whole page with them all.
Let us know how you like this format. Also note the changes we are making to the site as noted on the right.
So these some of the photos we took during our trip to Singapore. First we need to give a big thank you to Leah and her family for letting us stay with them and for acting as our tour guides. A second shout out goes to Cheyenne for being a good tour guide as well.
These photos do not include our trip to Malaysia, the zoo or any of the F1 photos which will all come later. Please enjoy the slideshow. Some of the highlights include eating durrian, BBQ stingray, coffee in a can, tea in a bag, and many many other tasty things. In fact most the photos have something to do with food or shopping, as those are the two national pastimes. Other highlights include us sweating profusely in most the photos, we also took photos of some signs that were pretty funny including "yu kee food house". We had fun going out clubbing at different venues as well as visiting a hospital to see Leah's grandma. Leah's family also had us over for a going away party for Leah's cousin where he had hot pot lunch, sang karaoke, watched mah jong gambling and played some Street Fighter. Overall an excellent trip!
If there are any questions don't hesitate to ask.
PS. Bonus points for the first person who can identify all the songs used in the slideshow.

Canberra trip and Olympic Distance Triathlon
Last weekend we took a trip down to Canberra to see a few of our friends and for TV to take part in an Olympic distance triathlon. The triathlon consisted of a 1.5km swim, 40km bike ride and a 10km run. It took TV 2 hours 38 minutes to complete. It was a very nice event through some wonderfully green countryside and lake front trails. The only draw back was the cold water which required a wetsuit.
Before the event we drove down with our friend Adam and had a great time. We also met up with our friend Lea who showed us around Canberra again, and took us to the national museum. Thank you for that Lea, and thanks to Adam and his family for having us over for dinner.
Overall a very nice trip and a decent result for TV's first long distance triathlon.
Hopefully next time we should be posting about our Singapore/Malaysia trip from last month.
