We met up with Uncle Peter who was in town with his family. We met at the park and the kids played all over the park. They had a great time playing together and the adults joined in too, while also managing to have a conversation as well. After the park we went to get the car washed and also to have a bubble tea at a new place.
On the second day we all went to the Comic Con together. We also caught up with several of our friends too. So it made it so much fun to not only see our friends, but also to see all the cool booths together. Quite a few people were wearing elaborate costumes which added to the entire event.
SV and KT went to the first day of the Sac Comic Con to check it out. They had fun meeting all sorts of people including the writers of some of the books they ended up buying. There were loads of interesting people and lots of stalls to visit. They came home with a fair few things which they were exited about.
Setsuna had quite a few outfits that she tried on, or rather were tried out on her. It is a good thing that she is an incredibly patient rabbit because she gets dressed up a fair amount. She seems to take it in stride though.
The girls were really keen to try snow tubing, particularly since we have driven past it several times now. We finally decided to give it a go and they had heaps of fun. They tried all of the tracks down and then they started getting creative in how they sat in the tube. They also went down together in a train and spinning as well. TV and KT ended up being the lift up for them and got in their exercise for sure.
TV took the kids to explore the other side of the water. We had to go down a ways before coming back up the other side to be on the opposite side of the water from the cabin. KT came out for a wave before she went back to enjoy the warmth. The girls were enjoying the snow on this side and made snow angels. They then had fun exploring and throwing snow at each other and in the air. We felt really refreshed before we headed back inside to warm up for the evening.
After a very successful day on the slopes we were all hungry. On the way back to the cabin we stopped in for some hamburgers. We really enjoyed the sunshine and nature as we waited for our tasty burgers. Although some of us were pretty tired.
