Merry Christmas in 2015!

We hope that all of you are having a wonderful Christmas, other holiday or just some well earned time off. Hopefully you all get to spend time with your family and friends during this festive season. We wish you all a Merry Christmas!

Apple Hill apples and more

We went up to Apple Hill to pick apples and see what else there was to do. Turns out that there was heaps to do. We tasted cider, rode ponies, ate leaves, patted llamas, made snowmen and had a generally good time with Babicka and Auntie Becca.

We were looking at some previous photographs and these two got a kick out of sharing the chair. SV was a bit preoccupied at first but when she caught in she was all smiles. If course that was just about the time MV started getting distracted.

Christmas decorating

In the new house we have more space and we thought it was time for SV and MV to go pick out a real christmas tree. We found a place where they sold cut trees and SV got to pick one out. When we brought it home we all got into decorating not only the tree but a whole bunch of other things around the house. It was a really fun way to spend the afternoon and to make the new house feel like home.

Seeing Grandpa Eric and Grandma Cheryl

We got to go to hamburger lunch with Grandpa Eric and Grandma Cheryl. Afterwards we went to their house where SV got to see Grandpa Eric's art and Grandma Cheryl's jewelry collection. It was really a wonderful afternoon just spending time with them. The two girls had heaps of fun and enjoyed playing. SV made sure to invite both Eric and Cheryl to her house.

Moving house

Big news, after more than 8 years at our apartment in Leichhardt we have finally moved. To be fair it was only 5 blocks but what a difference. More on that later. For now we are excited to be moving to a larger place with a small backyard, but at the same time sad to be leaving a place where we created so many memories including having these two little munchkins. 

Seeing Auntie Jody

We had a chance to see Auntie Jody and go to lunch with her. SV remembered her and she got Jody to play with her straight away. MV met her for the first time but she was also happy to play with her. Although when we got to the restaurant MV became quite irritable. SV in the meantime made a new friend and ended up sitting with another family for part of dinner.
