I think crayons are a great first exposure to mark making, but based on what I see in these photos I'm sending oil paints asap. We have to keep this child challenged. Ron
Alternately why don't you keep the oil paints at YOUR house and she can use them there. She makes enough of a mess with the crayons at our house. She does have a nice set of washable watercolours at home.
