First time skier

SV finally got to go skiing in the afternoon. She was really excited about it. It was really fun to watch and teach her as she had a great time. She really learned quickly, by the end of the first hour she was able to balance and shift her weight around on the skis. She could even go a short distance without help. We were all very proud, but of course TV was ecstatic to be able to teach SV to ski, and on Father's Day no less.

It was a really good surprise because we weren't actually sure SV would like it at all and so we didn't even get a lift ticket. That made for a bit of a tiring day for KT and TV as they had to trudge up the hill. A very successful day nonetheless.

What delightful giggles from little SV... and she actually did pretty darn well especially for such a small little tyke. She's a natural! TV and KT you made it such fun for her with just the right amount of support & encouragement...I loved it!

She did. She surprised both of us with both her skill and level of enjoyment. She'll be one of those little kids in a helmet who goes zooming by the adults pretty soon.
