Mandatory family portraits

 We had one more lunch before we had to head out from Rimavska Sobota. That of course meant we all had to take family portraits, which was all the more important this time. We were all very glad to do so too.

Dinner at the Drobny's

 We went to see the new house that Auntie Jarka had built because KT hadn't seen it yet. EV really liked their soft rug and even more so their giant teddy bear which she remembered from last year. Afterwards we went to have dinner with everyone. It was nice to have some family time.

More sliding fun

 We went and had a look at the natural lake to see whether we wanted to go for a swim in it but we decided not to. It was quite cold and full of algae. It was fine though because the big slides opened and we all got to go on them. The red twisty slide was a bit slow and some of us got stuck in it and had to push our way down. The green slide was fast and we all really enjoyed going down it. It was good fun for all of us. 

Swimming complex Kurinec

 Near where we were staying was the swimming complex called Kurinec, Chicken Coop. We finally managed to be visiting while the park was open, so we of course went for a visit. The water in the pool was certainly green since it was spring fed and contained minerals. The girls swam in the pool and played on the small slides while we all waited for the big slides to open. We were having fun despite the life guard giving us a bit of attitude regarding having rashies in the pool. We did the Slovak thing and pretty much ignored him and he let it go.

Visiting with the Drobny's

 We had dinner with the Drobny family in their apartment. We enjoyed a chat with them but it was a bit of a warm evening so we all got a bit hot and tired. It was really good to see everyone though.

Vcielka Maja playground

 We went and saw family in Rimavska Sobota again and after saying hello the girls ran down to play at the playground which is conveniently located next to the apartment block. They really enjoy playing at the park especially since they get to go by themselves. 

Rimavska Sobota cemetery

 We stopped in to look at the graves in Rimavska Sobota on our trip. The weather was perfect and it was really good for Nagymama to visit the grave of her husband and his parents one more time. We cleaned these graves off and put some fresh flowers on them again. The girls went down to the war graves and the willow again. It was a sombre but important visit and Nagymama really appreciated it.
